I Remember A Thread On Where To Buy Cake Dummies......
Decorating By tiptop57 Updated 10 Aug 2007 , 6:38pm by mkolmar
But now that I want to buy inexpensive cake dummies, I can't find the web address. Did anyone save the thread as a link or can point me in the right direction?
Thanks Jenn
If any has ordered or is going to order...can you share what the shipping costs are like?
What thickness do you recommend for the dummies? I'm wanting to place an order an for some reason can't decide.
Hmm I've recently bought them mkolmar and I guess it depends on your style......but I prefer 3" height. HTH
Even with shipping, the prices at Dallas Foam come out way better than buying it locally here.
I've also ordered styro wedges from them to make topsy turvy cakes ala Colette Peters. The prices were very reasonable.
For regular dummies, I ordered the ones that are 4" high.
I bought mine from taylorfoam, I was very happy with the prices and shipping was fast.

Country Kitchen Sweet art also sells them- I've had good luck with this company- very freindly and effecient and orders arrive very quickly. Check out www.countrykitchensa.com
