How about a tiered cake that the top tier looks like a building with flames and the firemen are on the ladder climbing up to it. Firemen could be on the ground doing there duties also. ohhhh a fireman could carry a little girl or boy down the ladder and the kid could be holding a turtle toy. Don't know if that would be to hard though icon_confused.gif

Oh anything with sea turtles would be neat and since it's almost nesting time, it could be beachy and in season. Are there any specific requirements you need for the convention?

The requirements is that it has to be 6" or larger. That's it thumbs_up.gif If you go to the ICES site you can see the requirements.

TCTurtleShell,
Maybe if you post on the "idea" forum instead of the "lounge" you'll get more feedback. It took me about a year to start coming to the lounge forum. I figured it was not cake related. (which it mostly isn't.)

TC I'd offer suggestions but I'm clueless myself! Of course it isn't last minute enough for me to think about it I think. HeHe. icon_smile.gif

LOL~ I think the deadline is July 10th. We need to figure something out don't we? Mac has already got hers done! We better get busy~ I might not do one. I don't know..... I'm still a beginner so I'm worried about it not being good enough. icon_cry.gif I have my nephew's cake to do for June 2nd, DH'a cake for June 19th, then I think I won't do any more cakes till my bday in Aug! So I should have some time to come up with something... I hope!! icon_rolleyes.gif

TC, last year I guessed on what I wanted and sent in the form. You just have to tell him how much space you are going to need, not what your theme is. And if you use less, or make your cake smaller, then that is no big deal.

You better do a cake! Don't worry about being a beginner or not, you will see cakes from the newbies to the experts. It's not a contest, it's just to share.

Mac is just an over achiever. I was working on mine the night before I left last year. Actually I worked on it ALL night long!! And did the same thing the year before. icon_wink.gif
