I have a customer who is requesting chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting for a grooms cake. I've got a good chocolate recipe but I have never made chocolate fudge. My questions is my local cake supply house has a wonderful chocolate fudge frosting in a tub but it's $59.00 and much more than I need. I rarely get orders for chocolate. Does anyone know where I can buy a good premade chocolate fudge frosting or have a good recipe? I would sure appreciate it. Thanks Pam from Bama

the receipe on the back of the hersheys coco powder is so delicious! and you can adjust the thickness of it and it is very fudge like when mixed just right!!!!

I have to admit that I just use the Betty Crocker fudge icing in the can. I mostly just use fudge for the occasional brownies, which are just for family, so I don't feel like going through the trouble to make real fudge frosting. Anyway, I have used it on cakes before and it has done just fine.

I just recently tried this recipe...

I used it on cupcakes and as a filling but haven't iced a cake with it yet.
