Someone Wanted Me To Make Their Wedding Cake!!!

my mom was talking to some lady at a party and she needed a cake to feed 40 people plus the top layer for them to keep... only thing is, she wanted it done in bc... and i only know how to do mmf so far... i don't feel confident enough to do any kind of bc so i said no... but i couldn't believe someone wanted me to make their cake for them! yay!!!

wow green!! you should go for it! LOL!!!! that is a great feeling though huh! awesome!
As well as you have done with your practicing with the MMF, I'm sure you could master the BC very quickly, in some ways it is actually easier than the MMF. You really should give it a try! That is really good that somebody wants to order a cake from you! Janice
I think BC is easier than MMF too. Hope you get a chance to practice some so next time you can say yes! 
GreenCG.. I agree w/ the rest of our buddies that posted before me....... YOU CAN DO IT!!!! BC is simple to make!! You wouldn't have a problem at all!! You would just have to practice smoothing that's all. I wouldn't take any orders right now though. You have your wedding to concentrate on! That's more important~ After the wedding you could be bringing in the bucks!
green, if you've done MMF, you can easily do BC... it's much easier than fondant to do ... I know you could do it!!
