I want to make a cake for my sister in law who just found out she is preg. But im not sure what to put on it she is very very very young and i was wanting to make her a cake and get her some floweres to let her know we still love her and will be here for her. No congrats or anything like that. I may get hurt

I think that would be good. I imagine she is scared and pretty much from here on out it will always be about the baby. Something just for her, maybe in her favorite colors, letting her know how much she is loved would, I think be appreciated.
I imagine she will know how much you love just by the fact you are taking the time to do this for her.

I think that it is very loving of you to make a cake for her to let her know you support her.
I think the heart cake is a good idea, make it in her favorite colors or in pastel colors and put roses on it and some cornelli lace, very elegant and than write on it what seester suggested.
I think the heart idea is great too .. It's like saying we love you all by itself... I think she'll love it and will appreciate your support

I think that's a really sweet thing to do. Isn't it funny how we always find reasons to make cake. A guy came over to fix the pool pump last night for free. After he left I told my husband "I should make him a cake." I think the heart will be great!
lol... so true peacockplace... I make cakes for new tenants in our office building.. besides saying "Welcome!!", it's also good advertisement ... I've sold a lot of cakes that way too ...
Maybe the little heart basketweave on the sides and a TON of flowers on top of it either by itself or on top of a 9x13?
