I am making a wedding cake for this coming Saturday and using the Gazebo set-up. The bottom set-up for the gazebo is the 18 inch separator plate and 13 1/2 inch columns. The bride wants the cake topper to be on the bottom inside the gazebo. The bride brought me her cake topper today and it is a very small crystal look bride and groom topper. It will never be noticed on the bottom. Fresh flowers will be placed behind it, but I think they may overpower the topper, but the flowers have already been ordered. Any ideas on how to make the cake topper stand out.

Can you elevate it on decorated styrofoam, or on a 6-inch decorated cake?

Could you put those little battery operated lights behind it maybe?

I think the lights would look great!

What about using the very small white rotating stand for the crystal bride and groom topper. It actually has lights built into it and really looks nice.

What about elevating it with the lights under it and put the flowers around the bottom of it instead of behind it?
