Cake Mix Doctor Or Cake Mix Bible

Hi TJ! Cake Mix Doctor is mainly focus on making cakes from the cake mix box, while The Cake Bible is more on making cakes from scratch. I'm not sure what you're looking for. I bought both of them and decided that I like it both. 
I have the Cake Mix Bible (which is different than the Cake Bible)....it's alright. There are lots of ideas for starters, so if you are just beginning, it would be a great book.
They do have some recipes for using cake mixes for cookies that I would like to try!

I am debating between the Cake MIX Bible or the Cake Mix Doctor. I can't decide which one to get first. I only use cake mixes and I thought one of these books would be a great way to make other desserts using cake mixes.....

I have them both and I actually have ALL of the Cake Mix Doctor books, not just the original.
If you really just focus on cakes/cupcakes, go with the Doctor.
If you also like making cookies with cake mixes and such, get the Bible.
I like them both but by far I use the Cake Mix Doctor much more.
TJ - how about checking out your library and see if they carry those books? That's what I did - borrow first before buying it.
I recommend the Cake Mix Dr!! I have it & love it! That was one of the 1st books I bought after I started decorating. After making several of the recipes I tweaked them into my own. They are so easy & delicious! The Bible goes into a lot of stuff that most of us already know. I looked at it but never bought it. You'll learn more from CC anyway!
