Hi,

I searched for Bosch mixer here on the forum board and noticed no one had posted the question since March. So I post again.

Does anyone have a Bosch Mixer or used one recently that looks like...

The fact that it doesn't have anything to intrude on the bowl space is fantastic in theory. But I wonder how this puppy actually performs.

I use the 6 quart kitchen aid and just not happy.

I love mine. It is strong, and the best part, it has a cover. No powdery storms when you add dry ingredients. You do have to press down a bit so the dust doesn't leak out. Mine came with a heave dough hook and the whisk, but I also bought the beaters. they are necessary for most mixing for cookies.

I don't use it for small batches of things. I ues by KA, or even a hand mixer.

I love mine also. My mom has had hers for 30+ years and buys them for us for wedding gifts. I have the cookie paddles, beaters, and dough hook. I don't own a KA because I don't think they work as well or are as tough. I also have an attachment that shreds anything you can fit through the shute! Great machines, great warranties. I use it for bread, sugar cookies, frosting and fondant. Hand mixer for thin cake mixes. Don't use cookie paddles for MMF though!! Dough hook is great for that.

Oh and just for those who are interested, the place that my mom gets them from ships for free and sells them for $369.99 no tax. I don't work for them or anything, I just get all of my stuff there and they've been so good with everything I thought I'd share. This is the mixer, blender pitcher, dough hooks, and beaters.

That's the one I have and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I also have all the seperate KA appliances, the mixer, the blender, the processor, but I rarely used them because it meant lugging it out from the cabinet onto the counter. We moved a little over a year ago and our kitchen has very little counter space. I got this because I can leave it out on my counter and switch out what I need and those parts are very light. I have the slicer/shredder, the processor, the blender, the mixer, the juicer, and the meat grinder. I also bought the cookie paddles. I love that the bowl can stay completely covered. I don't have to press down on mine at all, it keeps everything in.

I do have to say that it is harder to scrape the bowl down compared to a KA. The food processor is tiny. But, all in all, it's my best kitchen friend!

koolaidstains-
How do you like the juicer?? Does it separate the pulp and everything?
