I want to purchase a desktop sheeter. For those of you who are not familiar with the term/item... it is an oversized pasta press.
If you know of something inexpensive (less than 500 US dollars)
I'm tired of hand rolling these huges sheets of fondant and it looking amateurish.
something like this??
sorry not sure about the prices though. if you can find one less than $500...PLEASE let me know!! I'm going to get one for my kitchen and the ones I've been looking at are around $2000+!!
I've been looking too. If you can find a supplier that carries reasonable ones i'd love to know about them too!
Actually, yes, the dough roller from lucasville ohio is a good desktop model.
I'm worried about width however. If I could find an extra wide pasta roller I would use that... My oh my.
I also saw something on Ebay I would be interested in purchasing.
Again, width is a challenge. If you have a 6 inch tall square, depending on how BIG that square is... your width could be enormous! Covering a large flat sheet cake or round 16" with any kind of good height will be a challenge.
is there a website where i can find information on this one?
This little device looks like it would be VERY beneficial. I won't give out ebay information because I'm not promoting these items... this is just a discussion... so pictures speak... if you want to know details email me. I found them on ebay mostly.
Okay, so here is the first one I REALLY like... . I like it because
Sheets can be rolled in either direction and more can be added or subtracted at any time.
The length of the Sheet is limited only by the space and canvas available.
