I am doing a 7 tier wedding cake that gets pearl beads around the base of each layer. I decided to buy pearl beads at a craft store and string them with high quality beading string ... has anyone every done this rather than using the edible beads?

nope sorry. i roll fondant into balls and dump them into some pearl dust and give it a little shimmy. hope this bumps you up a litttle
