I just can't believe the email that I just got. I bought some products from a company and I had problems with it. I posted the problem here and I emailed the company to find out what they thought I should do. I had bought tylose powder and added it to my fondant. I followed their direction, but when I went to use it, it was hard as a rock (seriously- a big rockhard ball of fondant) and I didn't know if I could save it. It's just cake emailed me, THANKYOU SO MUCH, with some really great ideas on what to do. Then this morning, I open an email from the company and this is what I said and how they responded:

I doubt it really is that hard. Break off a marble-sized piece and squeeze it several times. It should feel very elastic and like play dough.

Do they think I'm a doofus? I can't break off a piece, it's as hard as a ROCK!

What a bunch of jerks. I want to know what company this is so I can NOT buy from them.

I would take several pictures of myself trying to destroy it with an ice pick and a knife, and then I'd get carried away and take a picture pretending that an axe or chainsaw couldn't even break it, and I'd say, "Now do you doubt that it's really rock hard?"

Hehe...

When you say you "let it sit overnight" - was it wrapped up?

Sara,

I would saw a piece of with a chainsaw and mail it to them. Better yet, take the rock drive down there and fling it at their window.

WE are where all the customer service has gone ...
we are kind to indecisive customers,
we are sweet with people who change their minds,
we are patient with last minute orders,
and last but not least,
we cheerfully help each other in every situation.

Maybe they could learn a lesson or two from US. thumbs_up.gif
