How do I create "Silver" using the Whipped icing? I have to make a sheet cake for a "50" Birthday Party. The color theme is Royal blue and Silver.

The whipped cream icings are generally very soft. Unless you get a "crust" you will have a hard time painting or brushing on the color. Your best bet is to make some decorations in royal, then paint them with food paint (a little silver luster dust mixed with a tiny bit of vodka, gin, or clear vanilla.) Same for the royal blue.

You can place the hard, dried decorations on the soft icing at nearly the last minute so they won't melt to quickly.
