It's here! After three weeks of waiting and no baking at all, my new Bosch convection oven is here!
My "old" GE oven (if you can call 5 years old "old") died in the middle of an order 3 1/2 weeks ago. I never liked it anyway...it took forever to heat up, and would occasionally misinterpret me turning down the temperature as turning it off. I asked hubby for a new one for Christmas and he said no, way too expensive, I must be crazy.
Well, everything happens for a reason, right? So the GE dies and I tell him I reaaaally need a convection oven for my cakes. He talks to our accountant (his mom) who tells us we can write off half the cost of a new oven, so I researched and researched and finally decided on the Bosch. Of course it was a special order and took three weeks to arrive. I had to turn down four cake orders, and that really broke my heart!
Anyway, I'm completely overjoyed. The installer from Lowe's told me it's an extremely high quality oven, and nothing GE has on the market "even compares". So yay! Here's a picture of my new baby, and thanks for looking, ladies! You're the only ones who would understand!
