How long is it good for after making? I have some left over from a class about 3 wks ago. It's wrapped in saran and then inside a container. I figured i can leave it and practice making flowers. right?! but i was wonder if it's still good to eat?
Also, once i make new fresh batch - what can i use it for?
Figurines?
Cover a cake?
anything else?

thanks!
Kat

Candy clay lasts like Tootsie Rolls. It will harden, but you can use the microwave to carefully warm it-it can get very hot so be careful.

You can use it to make roses and cut decorations, as well as covering cookies.

Use multiple layers of plastic so it can't get air. If it develops a crusty outside, you can melt it and start over, because the lumps will not soften with kneading
