I need to buy some

I tried looking on DecoPac but I can't figure out how their site works.

I get mine direct from the company at www.satinfinefoods.com. You have to call them, can't order online.

Well, it certainly going to be the cheapest since its right from the horse's mouth icon_smile.gif

You can call and they are very upfront with their pricing. by 20# bucket of white was $50, 5# bucket of chocolate was $14.75 and 5# bucket of red was $16.75 (last order)

They ship fedex and pass the actual cost on to you. I am in Alaska and they are in New York so mine is really high (about the same price as the product) but I can't get away from that anywhere. They will tell you the shipping cost over the phone or you can look it up on your own from fedex.com. They ship from zip 10918 and the largest box holds 40#.

Don't you love it when companies charge actual shipping instead of also tacking on the mysterious "handling" charge?

I get mine at www.countrykitchensa.com except I go to the actual store not online. I don't know what their shipping is but I have heard their customer service is great icon_smile.gif

I got Satin Ice fondant and gumpaste from http://www.bakedeco.com/ and the shipping was pretty realistic and reasonable. They only have the white, ivory, and chocolate varieties though, no premixed colors (on the website anyway, hadn't tried calling them to ask about them).

Searching for "satin ice" or "rolled fondant" brings up all the Satin Ice, but you have to scroll down past all the Wilton.

You could also scroll down the list of "Departments" to "Sugarpaste Tools" and choose "Sugarpaste Food Supplies".

I get mine from a distributor in my area (call Satin Fine Foods for one near you). It works out a lot cheaper than having to pay for shipping.

Funny, I just posted this on another thread earlier today. If you purchase a case from www.satinfinefoods.com which consists of 8x5lb buckets and you can mix and match colors and flavors, it came to $17.00 including shipping, per 5lb bucket. I thought I'd get together with some of my cake friends and split it up amongst ourselves.
