I am doing a Grad cake. Cake was requested to be black & white. I am looking for some opinions on which would be my best bet. Do I do the cake in buttercream or fondant? I know from experience fondant WILL sweat but how will the buttercream hold up? Thanks for ANY advise on this. This job is a great opertunity for referrals.

Where does the cake have to be served. will the heat and humidity play a huge part. I am on the cape too and have had no problems yet with any cake when using buttercream ..

Yeah the cake will be definetly by exposed to all elements. The only saving grace is that the party will most likely be by the water.

Where abouts on the cape are you from? It so nice to see someone that is close by. icon_smile.gif
