Okay, ladies - i need opinions!! I'm looking into upgrading my mixer. Currently have a 4.5 qt KA. I'm looking at the KA pro 6 qt and a Bosch. The Bosch is looking pretty good, but am wondering if anyone has one or the other or both and can offer feedback. thanks!!

i've never used the bosch, but i love my KA pro 600. its plenty big enough for me, and has lots of motor power. it runs beautifully, i don't know how i managed without it! (before i got it i was using a hand mixer, so i made a huge upgrade). mine is also refurbished, from the KA website. it was only 260$ after shipping, so an amazing deal and it works perfectly. hope someone else can give an opinion on the bosch!

I have both, and use them both. The Bosch is bigger, and I love that you can put on the cover and push the button and no clouds of powdered sugar. (I do press on the top to keep it sealed)

It also handles bread dough like nothing else.

I use the KA for single recipes and meringues.

I like to check out user reviews-enter the model number in Amazon.com and check out the customer's opinion. Eopinion does the same thing. Link a few threads up.

Thank you for your feedback. I will be checking Amazon and any other comparison website I can find. It's always nice to hear from other cake-bakers to get a true practical comparison!

Let me know what you decide, I've been thinking of getting a Bosch also. Thanks
