I must have the best husband ever!!!! 
I was away this past weekend on cake deliveries out of state (family events). Even though he had to work, he made it a VERY big point, to purchase some things I have been wanting for a while. 
I have been eyeing a edible image printer system for about 6 months now, as well as a new mixer. He knows which I have been looking at, and talking about for months. I return home, and he says, "you should have your new printer and mixer by the end of the week. 
My eyes just about popped out of my head, I started to cry. I am so lucky, he backs me 100000% . What a guy. Sorry I just had to share my good luck in finding a GREAT man! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!
this about makes me cry - having a spouse that actually THINKS about other people than himself... I just bought myself a lilac candle since I know DH won't think to get even a card. He knows it's coming, but PLANNING for bdays/christmas/anniversaries, etc. is beyond him - not just for me, but ANYBODY..
I'm waiting to see what he "offers" for Mother's Day. My guess is he'll say, "So what do you want to do for Mother's Day." I "plan" to ship them all away for a day because I'm burned out completely. I don't want to see them from breakfast through dinner - honest to goodness. Let him deal with the two kids for the bulk of a day and then maybe he'll be a little more empathetic.

How sweet! It is so great to have a hubby that supports you every step of the way.
It certainly helps to have their support! Being a contractor, my husband always buys the best tool because he knows it will work better and it will last. I always hate to spend the money for the best one. If it weren't for him I wouldn't have my Kitchen Aid, my edible image printer or my kopykake projector. And they're all at least a step up from the one I dreamed about! Gotta love 'em! He's the one that had to have the big oven when we re-did the kitchen too! I just wanted a new cooktop and got a cake friendly kitchen in stead!

berryblondeboys: I am SOOO sorry you had to buy a new candle on your own. Here is a HUG !!! I have had those same feelings a time or two. Just send me a pm if you need to vent sometime. I have 5 kids of my own, and yes sometimes they can be quite irritating. When you are here, you are with people who are your friends!!!!
