I love the way fondant looks on a cake, but I can't stand the way it tastes....I have the Marshmallow fondant recipe, which is great to work with, but does not taste so good to me....

I love buttercream icon_rolleyes.gif, but it just doesn't look the same. I just hate to compromise the taste of the cake for the look of it, you know?

Anyone have a good fondant recipe??? icon_smile.gif Thanks

You could try rolled bettercream (not as easy and a bit more greasy) or just add flavoring with the liquid when you make the fondant.

I really like lemon extract in my MMF. I also use butter flavor, which you might try if you want it a bit buttery...

Another favorite is champagne lorann oil...
