I've made plenty of MMF cakes, but never done a FBCT.
My sons 3rd b-day is in a couple weeks and he wants a Curious George theme.
Where can I find an image large enough to print out for the FBCT? I don't have a scanner or I would just scan a napkin and blow it up... what's the trick?
I'm fortunate to have a scanner, but I've never actually used it for my FBCT. I search the web for pictures and download them into one of my photo programs so that I can print it the size I want. That has worked for me, you just have to remember to print in reverse image. Jodie
Thanks for the replies!
I found this....

It should work perfectly!!
I posted this a while back, best link ever ![]()

Once I find an image I like I copy it into the MS paint program and change what I need to add other things and then I have a better image for me to work from.
I preped a picture for Diego this morning for my friends DD's approval.
I started from a Diego plate and made the changes as I needed.
I will spray some blue for the water a bit more than the plate, I will spray the rest green and only make a scene on the left with foilages and trees.
I plan on making RI covered pretzels sticks for the corners to embelish.
You can change the size too so you can print it exactly as you need it for later. So if you just need the picture of Curious George you can get rid of everything else and then you have a clean slate. ![]()
I usually write up all the colors I need or notes on the side so I dont make a mistake. It really helps when you are really busy! ![]()
Good Luck.
