I'm trying to help my DD get starting selling Cookie Bouquets as a way of earning a little extra money so she doesn't have to work while going to college. Anything to get her finished--this is the third try and she's doing quite well. Anyway I'm getting off-topic, a lady who had ordered some Easter bouquets wanted a large 20 cookie bouquet for a Derby party, DD claims she quoted the lady $75.00, but when the lady called to confirm--she says didn't we agree $50.00 for 20 cookies. Well my DD who is still young and has grown her brass b%$ls yet agrees to this. Needless to say I felt like we were working for pennies that night. Luckily we had some extra cookies and I made 3 cookie bouquets in Derby glasses and took them to work and they sold like hotcakes. We made a little extra money and I got two large orders for Teacher Appreciation and a Good Luck bouquet. I told DD when she delivered this bouquet to tell the lady that her prices will be higher the next time and she did! She's learning! I've attached a picture of the bouquet and would like to know what kind of price you guys would have charged. I almost feel $75.00 wouldn't have been enough.

I am sorry that I am unable to help you with the price question. I do think your cookies look good.

Wow, that's $3.75 per cookie ($75 for 20 cookies). Is that the usual going rate?

They look lovely! icon_smile.gif

We only received $50.00 and that included the price of the container (basket, shred, foam and marbles to weight it since there were so many cookies). This only comes out to $2.20 a cookie. And my DD also delivered. Gas in Louisville is $3.20 a gallon. It's really hard to figure in all these little costs, but they do cut into profit.

Ouch!! That's very little money for a lot of effort! Awesome job, though!
