I have a edible diploma ready to appply in the morning. First time working with one and am a little nervous - really want it to look fabulous.
I have read here that a light misting of water will work, or maybe clear piping gel or a smear of frosting.
Which do you consider the best way - any tips on applying and if you have another way all together please share.
Also I want the edges to curl up a little as though it was just unrolled - any advice.
The cake is for Saturday.
Thanks for any tips you can offer.

Use a mist of water. I have tried both and the piping gel is a little messy.

There is a recipe for fondant adhesive in the 2006 Wilton Yearbook. It says to use 1 oz. of fondant to 1/4 tsp of water. Knead together until sticky and brush on where needed.

I use a light mist of water too. I keep a water bottle handy just for this reason.
