Can we add more than one pic of the same cake to the contest?? Just wondering before I post mine. I'd like to show diffrent angles, but not sure what the rules are.
Nope I tried that and the 2nd one had to be removed. You can only post 1 pic for the contest.

Just wondering cause there are several in the gallery now from the same person. Thanks for keeping me straight! ![]()
I noticed that also. I am pretty sure they will have to remove all but one. I tried to post a top view of my cake and it was removed because of the rule for 1 photo. Oh well. Good luck!

That's because of the way voting is set up. It'd be difficult to calculate your "score" if you had more than one image of the same cake posted. The way the winner is chosen is based on who gets the most "points" rather than who gets the highest rating. A rating of 1 is worth 1 point, 2 is worth 2 points and so on. At least that's the way it's been done in the past. You could post one picture that shows two views of your cake though.
ok im new here so bear with me i went into the contest and couldnt figure out "how" to vote??? please help ..... lmao ![]()
I believe the rules are posted on the home page of the contest advertisement, up in the left hand corner of the page. Click in the Mother's Day Contest ad and check it out, I'm going there now to review them again...
if anyone finds them somewhere else please post!
Thanks you guys. I did read the rules, but was just wondering since someone posted like five yesterday.
Here is a quick question since the pictures are digital why couldnt you combine two pics of the same cake together? That way when you post your 1 pic you would have a top and a side view of the same cake. All it takes is a little cutting and pasting in your photo program.
I thought of that too, but I think that's skirting the rules a little. I'm not sure it's fair. What does everyone else think?
I think that the point of one 'submission' per cake is for voting reasons, like Lisa said. Meaning that they can keep track of votes per submission. If you are able to cut & paste 2 pics together into 1 submission, I don't think that is against the rules. Is it? (Can a Moderator step in here and set us straight?)
Thanks Jakie...and thanks for the great site and all you do to keep it great!
