Hi Everyone!

I'm making these Martha Stewart Spring Cupcakes with Sugared Flowers this weekend, and I was wondering if any of you have used something else other than egg white to sugar the flowers. I'm pregnant, and there will be kids at this event, so I don't want anyone to get sick from raw eggs.

I thought meringue powder and water would work. What do you think? And in what ratio would I make this liquid?

Thanks for the help!

Mirjana

Pasteurized eggwhites works just fine and are completely safe.

You can also use sugar syrup.
