I am reading the recipe for Dawn's BC and I do not see how much a single recipe will yield.
Does anyone know approximately how many cups a single recipe of Dawn's Buttercream yields?
I have my second paid order to do towards the end of the month and I am figuring out the cost to make the cake so that I can charge her accordingly.
Thanks in advance

I have used it and I would estimate about 6 or 7 cups. Please keep in mind it is just an estimate. Hope this helps.

I used it on the last wedding cake I made, I used 2 1/2 batches and had just a little left over. I didn't measure it but it frosted a double layer 14", double 10", and double 6". Sorry I can't be any more help than that. I also used some for the dams of each layer.
I have used that recipe a few times recently and can easily ice a 1/4 sheet (9x13). If I remember right, I had just enough to ice a 1/2 sheet (13x1 but not to do any decorations on it - just the base icing.

I made Dawn's receipe yesterday. I made my first BCT from it -a very simple Tweety bird- I probably used 1- 1/2 cups from the receipe for that. I just measured my left overs and I have 6 cups left. Hope it helps
Ok, thank you.
I have a graduation cake order due at the end of the month, and I am figuring out what I will be charging her.
