I am making a cake for a a bowling teammate who is male friend and is getting married and moving away. I plan to have an 8" bottom round, with a 6" round on top. I plan to have a picture of my friend (female) and I "jumping" out of the top tier. I am going to mold fondant as if it's the cake top that has ripped open by us jumping out of it. I will also mold fondant bowling balls to look as if they were our, well, ya know...our "girls".

Anything else have any suggestions?

Thanks!

since you're already whipping the fondant out, have you thought about making some pins to go around the bottom layer?
