Long Time Lurker Finally Taking The Plunge To Post

Not sure what prompted me to start posting, but heck, I may as well since I have been lurking daily for over a year now! 
My name is Missy and I have been decorating cakes as a hobby for about 4 years or so. I am a Wilton Instructor at a local Michael's store and love it! I hope to have my own business some day, but for now I'm happy with making a ton of cakes for friends and family.
I love novelty type cakes and one of my favorite decorators is Lindy Smith. I also find great inspiration from my aunt, Sharon Low. I have been sampling her cakes since I was a kid, but never truly appreciated the craftmanship until I began my caking addiction!
Well, I hope I can find a place here at Cake Central to fit in. It always seems like tons of fun!
