I'm going to look at her site now but have you guys checked out Duff Goldman's site? www.charmcitycakes.com. He also has pics of all his cakes! Very cool stuff!

www.charmcitycakes.com your link doesn't work because of your good punctuation. (you put a period at the end of your sentence icon_smile.gif) His cakes are amazing too!

One of things I really liked at the confetti cakes site is the way they give you a few or so close up pics. So many of Duff's cakes I feel like you are missing so much amazing detail because they are so small! icon_sad.gif Something to remember when I have a real site/business someday!! icon_lol.gif

She just might be the best I have ever seen! I cannot even begin to fathom how she created such detail and realism in some of her cakes....

I love Elisa Strauss, too! I can't wait to get her new cookbook! Her cakes are amazing. I wish they would have had more time for her on the Today Show this morning ... they seemed to run out of time. Did you see her popcorn cake? Or the baseball hat cake? They were all amazing. She is incredible. thumbs_up.gif

Cakesbyjess! - The thing that I thought was such a good idea on the B-Ball hat was that it wasn't perfectly rounded. It almost seemed a little smooshed in back. You know how a cap gets dented and dinged when it is well-loved! icon_smile.gif It was so real! I bet there were people watching that who will call all of us and say I saw a ...... on the today show! Can you do that?? BE PREPARED ladies and gents! icon_lol.gif

I was thinking the exact same thing! That cap looked SO REAL!!!! Yes, we will get calls from people who saw those cakes on the Today Show, and then when we tell them just how much it will cost to do a cake like that, they will be icon_eek.gif and say "But it's just cake!!!"!!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I have no idea if they are papers or actual molds they are in. I have yet to find a place that sells papers shaped like brioche molds.. well I found one, but they were brown.. ick! LOL I'll keep looking.. I bet they are common, but I can't figure it out.

Oh.. and the directions were vague.. before you look at them..
