Do You Think This Will Work ......

You should take a look at the ingredients of what's in the propellant. Sometimes they contain additives that aren't food/consumption safe.
Anyone else think this will work if the propellant is safe???
Okay - so I didn't use it - propellant had a mustard oil in it - was not sure about it - Warnings pretty much dealt with not inhaling the vapors. I didn't open the package since I want to take it back
Soooo, unhappily ![]()
I used the wilton spray colors - not getting the effect I wanted - but I guess it will have to do.
You are right Doug the nozzel is small so that wasn't going to be a problem.
I'm definitely going to look at Home Depot and see what they have around here. Don't need an airbrush a lot, but when I do want the effects it is so frustrating not to have one. Like most the $$$ is a big issue.
Home Depot carries a wonderful little sprayer in the paint department called "Preval" sprayer. It is 3.98 and sprays airbrush and perfectly and beautifully everytime. It is food safe. Duff, Ace of Cakes guy, uses it as well.
I'm sending my DH to home depot tomorrow to buy one! ![]()

Here's the link to the Preval Paint Sprayer for small jobs. I couldn't determine from what I read if it's food safe or not, perhaps a quick e-mail to the manufacturer would be in order.

I would like to know if the one at home depo is really the same one duff uses. If he uses it it "should" be safe right? (and please dont start on the gloves thing...)
It is the same one. That is how we found out about it.
