There is a flavor called Almond Ellusion made by Magic Line. Has anyone ever tried this? If so, how does it taste?

I have not tried it but noticed you are up in Stone Mountain. I'm south of the airport, in Fayetteville, neighbor. Have you gone to the Cake Art store on Memorial? If so, how is it??

Hi Kos
I'm in the Cake Art store at least three times a week. I live about 3-4 miles from Cake Art. I was just in there today and noticed the Almond Ellusion flavoring. They have so much stuff in Cake Art and they truly keep up with Wilton's new products. I love Cake Art. I'm taking a Sculptured Cake class next Saturday at Cake Art.

I have to be honest, i didnt' even know Magic Line made anything besides pans. So here is a friendly bump hoping someone else has tried it.

Thanks leily. It may be possible that don't make it anymore. Hopefully someone has tried it.

Almond Ellusion or Illusion? Is it some kind of fake marzipan or something? Never heard of it...

I did find this, though. icon_biggrin.gif

It's a flavor similar to flavors such as creme bouquet.

It is a substitute to almond extract. It would be used the same except you would only need a few drops because it is very concentrated. I do it to taste when I use it to bake. I am pleased with it.

Great, thanks so much! I think I'll pick up a small bottle at my local cake supply store.
