Does anyone know where I could get flavored powdered sugar.. I bought some lime cookies the other day with lime tasting powdered sugar on top.. Do they even sell this kind of stuff, and if not, could I make it..

I've never seen flavored powdered sugar before. Maybe you could grate the rind of a few limes, set it out to dry then add it to the sugar for a week or more. It should pick up the flavor but you would have bits of lime rind in there.
Personally, it wouldn't bother me to have it there, just more flavor when you take a bite. MMmmm

I know for a while Domino's made flavored powdered sugar. I think it was lemon, strawberry, and chocolate. I haven't seen it for a while. Maybe they have a web site you could check on.

Try sprinkling some unsweetened Kool Aid powder in your powdered sugar. I do this with lemonade-flavored Kool Aid for rolling lemon wedding cookies in and it's scrumptious!

I also sprinkle lemonade Kool Aid in my buttercream sometimes to go on lemon cake. icon_smile.gif

Cakepro suggested Cool Aid. That's a great idea. Antonia uses it in her pech cakes too.

I really like the Kool-Aid idea! I am going to have to try that.
