I am making a cake tomorrow that is two 12 inch hearts (2 inch each with a filling) and a small 8 inch heart on top also about 2 inches.

My questions is does anyone know if they make a box that is 14x14x6. I went to two craft stores and the biggest Wilton makes is 12x12x6. But if I put it in a 19x14x4 I won't be able to put the cover on.. The customer is coming to my house to get it so its not like I can put it together at the site. It has to be done when it leaves my house.

Any advice?

Try a party store I know they carry a wide variety of box sizes! Good luck in the search!

go somewhere like a fedex/kinkos or a office depot/staples - they sell all sorts of boxes - you could cover the box with contact paper if you dont like the design/words on it - goodluck

Only cake decorating stores have the big boxes. I get the 16x16x6 all the time locally.

Thanks for the advice. I went to my local wholesale cake decorating store and they would only sell me 50 cake boxes for $37. I decided that was not a good idea. So I went to Office Depot and got a box that was 14x14x14. It worked great. Even gave me a little room on top!
