I found out today that where I live if I only make "non-hazardous foods" - cakes, cookies, breads, etc. that I do not have to have a separate kitchen and that I can bake from my home. They do still inspect and require a few things to be in your home kitchen but a small expense compared to building a whole new kitchen. I am not really ready to get into to many cakes as I am still quite new to cake decorating but its a good start.

So, anyways if anyone has any ideas on a name for me I would love to hear them - I'm kind of at a loss - I want something different but catchy. icon_smile.gif

Congrats! Lucky you. The city I live in has a health department restriction for the seperate kitchen, boo hoo. I find it's a fun new hobby for me and my friends are loving the results. Good luck and have lots of fun.

Thanks tlnewman! icon_smile.gif BTW - great cakes in your gallery!

sweetoccasions - thanks also! I was pretty excited to find this out because I was thinking of putting in a new kitchen but now that I don't have to makes life a lot easier!! Maybe someday you'll have your second kitchen - for now I'm sure your friends are loving it! Best of luck to you also!! icon_smile.gif

Congrats & Best Wishes. No such luck in NYC---there are rules and regulations--and expenses you would not believe, so my dream of having a legal cake baking establishment is on hold for now. Let us know how it goes. I always like hearing good news!! thumbs_up.gif
