I have never collared a pan before, but I'm planning to do it for a cake I am making next week. The cake will be a 2 layer 12" round. Is it best for me to use waxed paper or parchment? Do I need to grease and flour the paper? Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA.

If you have it, parchment is better, no melting wax. There is no need to grease or flour parchment, it peels right off.
