I am going be doing a barbie cake but the dress part will be in whipped cream icing and the decorations are small flowers in royal icing that I will be sticking on the dress. Do you think that it will hold up? Will the royal icing melt with the whipped cream icing? Thanks Jen

Sorry, I've never used that kind of icing when decorating a cake, but here's a BUMP. icon_smile.gif

Depends on how far ahead you apply the flowers. The whipped cream will cause the RI to melt, but it isn't an instant response. If the RI is completely dried, it could take several hours before there is any effect.
