Has anyone made a wedding cake with Cream Cheese Frosting? I am making a cake in September and the Bride is requesting it. I dont think it will hold up and am very nervous about it. What are your experiences? If you have a recipe to share that worked for you that would be great!

I haven't used the recipe, but the Crusting Cream Cheese recipe on CC seems to be a common one i see come up i the forums. Search the recipes and you should find it.

I made a 3 tier wedding anniversary cake with the crusting cream cheese frosting from CC and it held up fine. There is a picture of it on my photo page. Everyone loved the taste! I live in central california. It was 90 degrees that day and still held up well. Good luck!

It will help if you start out with a cold cake. Keep it as cool as you can. And be prepared for some possible condensation. It will evaporate, but you can prepare/plan for it.
