Dots On Wedding Cake?

I'm doing a wedding cake and the bride has requested small dots(not polka dots) the same color asthe fondant(ivory) I'm at a loss on how to do this? Any suggestions or advice would be Greatly appreciated icon_smile.gif

perhaps she means like a cluster of dots together like in a triangle shape?? did you ask her what she means?? to show you exactly on paper or another cake what she has in mind???

Either way, swiss dots or singles, you just pipe em on.

I have seen some very tiny dots in Toba Garrett's book. She uses a tip #0 to make them.

Just remember to make sure your icing is thin enough. So not to hurt your hand and strain your icing through a new knee high nylon to get rid of all the clumps that tend to be there to clog your icing tips #2 or smaller.

I use an impression mat on the crusting icing to make sure they are all evenly spaced.
