So...I'm new to fondant and when working with the white, it showed "dust" or something. My pin is wood with handles. I just bought but haven't tried a stainless steel pin. I've also seen marble and plastic. Which is best of the best...and why?

the fondant rolling pin is great. it is small and maybe it is sometype of silicone. It worked well for tart crust too. So now a larger one is on the way from ebay.

My personal preference is the Wilton Wide Glide rolling pin because it's nice and wide but not super-heavy, like marble. icon_smile.gif

Yes, Cakepro has it. That is the one. It can be used for everything that needs rolling without sticking

fearlessbaker...do you mean Cake Pro has the Wilton rolling pin or one of their own? Would it be at www.cakepro.com?

Oops...silly me. So Wilton it is. I will return the stainless pin. Thanks.
