I am doing a cake in buttercream, but really want to use the luster dust for the shiny effect - does anyone know if I can use it in or paint it on buttercream?[/img]

Yes you can! I paint it on all the time. It is easier of you use a crusting BC and a very soft brush to paint. If you have an airbrush, that is the absolute best way to get luster dust on BC.
