I have to do a cake that is white and champagne color. My question is what color would you use for champagne?

I was thinking some Ivory with a hint of Daffodil Yellow... I think the Buttercup Yellow might be too dark. But i have never needed to make a champagne color...

What type of icing are you making if you are making a BC with butter, than I would say add a little Ivory just to give it a touch of the beige, other wise a little pale yellow with the ivory should do it.
Champagne is just a shaded color.

Good Luck.

I'm going to be using fondant only. Do you think if I use bright white and an ivory fondant that would be ok or would you still add a touch of color to the ivory. Do you think the color white and ivory would be different enough to really have it stand out enough?

I do not know enough about fondant. My best guess would be for you to try it out, a couple of pieces of the different colors, next to each other, say rectangles about 3 X4 inches stacked and take a picture. If it looks good, you are good to go, if not try and adjust the color?
I am sure there are pics of those combo colors, that could help guide you once you have an idea of your actual colors.

Good Luck.
