Are they double layered and filled? If they are then I would charge at least $120 for a fondant covered cake of that size with handmade flowers and bow. Hope that helps!

The rule of thumb I was taught was $100AU per tier and then you add on for the work involved. I would not take less than $150AU for this cake but you need to judge your audience.

Gorgeous cake. I love it. The bow is perfect.

Well what type of cake is it? Filling or no filling? Fondant, buttercream? Details. LOL

First I would suggest figuring out what it cost you to make. Then I would add on extra for your time. And I would charge for the bow as well. Finally, when you have done all of that. Ask yourself if your market can support the price you came up with. If not, then you will need to adjust it. I know it's easy to get online and ask how much to charge for a cake. However, the reality of it is you what you can get in one city for a cake you can't in another. Try asking NYC prices in small town America and you will understand what I mean.

It's just beautiful. I don't do fondant, so I couldn't guess. But it is great.

I would not take less than 100.00 especially with the fondant. I am thinking at least 120.00. By the way...the cake is really beautiful! thumbs_up.gif
