My kitchen aid baking sheets (cookie sheets) are starting to develope some type of grease build up that the dishwasher cant get off
. Its like that yellow grease junk you see on the back of some peoples ovens. Is there anyway to clean off the build up without hurting my pan? ![]()
Try Dawn Power Spray. That is what I used to clean the grease that accumulated under the rings on my stove top. Worked like a charm.

There are a few products I use to get grease out that do not or are not suppose to hurt our tools!
Lysol NON Citrus meaning no lemon no orange should help you. I was always able to purchase the Apple kind, but I have not been able to find it lately. That usualy does the trick. I only put my pans in the Dishwasher as a last resort. Or if I am super tired! You might want to try some Dishwasher gel like palmolive with a cloth really hot water and a little elbow grease.(Gloves on for the heat!) It might get those stubborn stains out. Just make sure there is no lemon in it, apparently Lemon can damage the finish of some stuff.
Good Luck.
Yes, the acid in the lemon or citrus reacts with some forms of aluminum, and turns it black.

Cameo is awesome, AND cheap, but so hard to find around here. It used to be all I used.

I love the Dawn Power Disolver. It works great. Spray it on leave it for about 15 minutes and off the burnt off stuff comes. I use it on my burner pans, my glass baking dish when I've made oven fried potatoes and don't have to scrub forever to remove the nastyness.

My sister uses Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. I have also heard potates cut in half work too.
