Hello
Does anyone have a template for making an edible coral for a tropical cake? Also do you have any tips for making edible shells?
Please share.

The way I made my coral was pretty easy, and it looked realistic IMO. First you crush some ice and put in a pie plate, then I melted my candy melts and with tip #5 piped the melted chocolate on to the ice in shape of coral, First I kind of piped the base and the did the limbs of the coral, it sets up in just a few minutes and you can lift it right off and you have coral. There is a pic in my photos of the seashell wedding cake.

BTW, the idea for doing the coral came from a CC member, I am sorry I can't remember her name, but she gets all the credit. I think she goes by the online name of Fairytale.
