Okay.... calling on all you experts to lend me a hand, please!!!
I am getting ready to make a graduation cake that resembles one from a picture I saw online somewhere (I don't think it was here). It has a baby on a freestanding cake with a bridge that goes from that sattelite cake to the top of a three tier cake. Then, on the bridge, there is, about a quarter of the way up, a young boy, then a little farther up, there is a teenager and then you reach the top of the third tier where there stands the graduate!!! Really great idea!!! So... I have never molded people before and I have bought the molds. What do ya'll think works best for these .... modeling clay or paste or gumpaste?? What is the difference???
any special tips in using these molds would be helpful as well!!!
Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!!!
Is this it? This is the one I want to do for my grand-niece next year.

I use gumpaste, the cinderela in my photos is made using a mould.
Tips: Lots of patients ![]()
Also, if the gumpaste is too stiff its difficult to work with
