I'm so glad you all started a kitty thread! LOL, I have three of them. The big grey and white 20 pounder in my avatar is named Zeus. He has ice blue eyes. The orange tabby is Buddy, and the dark calico is my son's cat, Patches.

This is Bungee . . . my attack kitty. I got her when she was 3 days old and bottlefed her so she is a bit maladjusted.

We love her so much . . . shes incredibly pushy and affectionate, but watch out!!! If she doesnt get her way she is a nasty little psycho!

My boyfriend calls her his "Cat Hat." She finds a way to climb on his shoulders and will ride around up there for hours at a time . . .

She's beautiful!!! And she's not psycho, she's a cat. They are ALL psycho! icon_wink.gif But, when they curl up to you and purr... it doesn't matter how naughty they've been! It's kind of like looking at a child when they're sleeping. It doesn't matter how crazy they drove you that day... your heart aches for how much you love them.

I am NOT going to sing it to you all cause It would not sound right if its typed. Max comes running everytime I sing it. I recon its just how I say it or something, I am not too sure. icon_rolleyes.gif

I do have a pic of max not laying down or sitting down, I think. I will have to check when I get home.

Tigger is a fatty and has to use gravity to help him lick certain areas. And he has no shame, so he will sometimes use us to get into the right position! icon_wink.gif

OMG, Melivira, Zeus does the same thing! LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one with a fat cat that has a hard time cleaning himself. Zeus has decided that sometimes it's just too much work to lick his fur that he can't reach, so he sucks on it. Yes you read that right. LOL<it's the most horrible noise I've ever heard when he does it. I have to use waterless shampoo to help him clean his back, because he's just too fat to reach it no matter what he tries.

Oh no, Monica... he is taking a bath. icon_wink.gif Fortunately he can still lick himself, he isn't THAT fat yet! icon_wink.gif He is really solid though. When people come to my house they go "Woah... that's the biggest cat I've ever seen!" I forget he's so big because I see him every day, but when I see someone else's cat it reminds me! He's very tall as well as wide.

All of your kitties are so adorable!!

Here are my little buddies. They are brothers, and I got them from the humane society 9 years ago, when they were 8 weeks old. Snoopy died 3 years ago in August (I found him laying next to our bed ... soooo sad icon_cry.gif ), and Pluto hasn't been the same since. icon_cry.gif

Oh Jess, you just broke my heart! We lost my little girl around that same time! She had been with us for a looooong time, and one day, she snuck outside and didn't come back. (She never went outside, but they say animals have that instinct...) icon_cry.gif

Mom2seven... you just broke my heart too!! I hope they're all up there playing together!!

Our vet says that her's are pleasently plump and gets mad if you call them fat. One has to have at least a 20" waist. icon_lol.gif

I'm sorry about BooBoo ... poor little guy. icon_cry.gif Was he sick? Snoopy was completely fine when I left for work that morning. When I got home from work that afternoon and he didn't come running to the door, I just knew something was wrong. My heart sank. I walked back to our bedroom and could see his tail around the far side of the bed. I walked over to him and he was laying there peacefully. Pluto was laying right next to him. It was heartbreaking. icon_cry.gif As many times as we've vacuumed and cleaned the carpet where we found Snoopy, Pluto still likes to sleep in that exact spot.

Melvira ... your little girl was adorable. It is so hard to lose our furbabies. They bring so much joy to our lives, but it hurts so much when they are gone. I just know that they are at the Rainbow Bridge playing together, waiting for us to join them one day ...

Oh my GOD Jess, stop it. I am literally sitting here with tears streaming down my face. I have this ultra sensitivity when it comes to animals. Just looking at the picture I just posted of Miss Kitty started the water works, and when I read what you just said... well... where the hell are the Kleenex?

Edited to add: I meant the part about Snoopy and Pluto... not the rainbow bridge part. That was lovely!

BooBoo got fatty liver disease, I only had him about a month before he got sick and than he only lived about a month after than. The vet said that BooBoo must have been about 9 or 10 years old already.
