Anyone have any experience making a waterfall? I am not sure which I should use...fondant or icing? The cake is 3 tiers (probably shades of gray). And if you have made one any tips would be so much appreciated!! Thanks!!

Both actually...I am asking what people have used and what their own personal preference and experience has been.

And thanks so much for all those links NewbeeBaker...I will definitley check them all out!!

My personel preference is to ice the water fall in a fairlyl smooth white, air brush with a blue (two different shades) then take the back of a spoon or the end of a spatula and kinda dip, twist, pull and twirl all at the same time (the spoon, not you!)

Your cake looks great!! And I made the same rocks already (I guess great minds think alike!..lol)

I am just worried about using BC since the cakes are going to be covered in fondant...not sure if it will "blend" well?
