I hate to sound dumb...but what are the butter cream transfers? Do you buy or make them? And how do they work?

OHhh! you'll be great at them... I am dying to try one. Maybe tyis weekend! You can find any picyure from a scan or internet you want and make a transfer out of buttercream for your cake. I have a link to cali4dawns instructions here

I'm dying to try but I don't know if my waist can take more cake.

OK I am so excited I JUST DID MY FIRST BCT!!! It was a easy one of tweety bird--you know keep it simple--now my question is How long can I store it in the freezer before I have to use it? I need it for Fri. night will it be ok in there that long

I am sold on the BCT. I did my first and it was incredible. It came out so pretty and it was not hard to do. A little intimidating but very easy. Good luck and enjoy yourself.

NewtoDecorating,

Your bct should be fine in the freezer until Friday. Just make sure that there is no condensation that can get on it because it will make a yucky spot...happened to me when my two year old had opened the freezer door and didn't close it back all of the way.
