Hi,
You can just spritz the cake with a water bottle, not too much water though, too much can make the colors run..Sometimes after I spritz the cake, I take a paper towel and lie it on the cake quick, to make sure there is not too much water..Hope this helps!! icon_wink.gif

You can also use a very thin layer of piping gel to attach the image.

I recently attached one by brushing on a thin coat of Crisco. I love how it sealed the edges instead of curling up!

Becareful my first one dissolved and was ruined I did not want to spray a thin mist of water on my cake/ as it leaves the fine marks on the cake/ basically that is what you must do not on the image.......I surround the outer edge with paper towelling. Good luck.

I spritzed the finest mist of water on fondant to adhere an edible image, but the fondant was a lid for a box and separate from the cake itself.
If I were adhering to a cake, I would be leary about spritzing water.
The idea of crisco sounds great. I had thought next time I might even try using a fine layer of buttercream to fasten the image to fondant.

Yes crisco although we do not get it here sounds best then you can move it if necessary yes. I had an elvis image and spritzed water and you could see though the white areas. A little frustrated........So yes crisco
