I am always talking about CC
So today my DD want to look at cake pics. She doesn't decorate but want to look for a cake for me to make.
Well, she signed on to CC. I talk about my OCD daughter thinking I'm free and clear - not. She gets mad at me when I say she is OCD. But, she is 
She told me "Scarlett, how original"
I have always been a big Gone With the Wind fan and collector so she spotted me right away. Then it doesn't help when I use my real name.
Darn it, I thought this was my get-away.
Uh oh, sorry your cover was blown! I don't like thinking up clever names and hoping they aren't taken so I use my first and middle names. And I've NEVER liked being called Carol Ann. But hey, at least I won't forget it. And WHO would actually want THIS name? LOL
That is why I never say the name of this place to friends & family (none of them do cakes so they wouldn't be coming to learn just be nosey)I just say my cake board.
I only share it with cake people so this place can be a haven 
And CarolAnn I think your name is beautiful! I always hated my middle name but over the years I have finally realized its not bad at all and I even used it for my 3rd dd's middle name. Embrace the name 
I"m sorry your cover was blown, I had no choice of my name. My littlest son gave me mine. When he was very little, he would always say mommicake, mommicake. so when I found this site and needed a name, he TOLD me I needed to use that!!! Sometimes, out of the words of babes. For years I didn't like my middle name either, especially when my parents would use them together. I like the name Carol Ann, had a best friend in grade school with that name. Scarlett O'hara is still one of my favorites. I think I have seen that movie about a million times. Good Choice!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no Janette!! I worry about that once in a while when I say something about my MIL!! Because when I had my spotlight I sent her a link to see it, now I wonder if she ever comes on here and snoops! Hehehe. Oh well. I guess that would serve her right! J/K!!! 
Ah, Janette, I did the same thing! I talked about this place to a friend of mine, over and over. Of course, I had been venting in one of my early posts about how she had hurt my feelings with a comment about how I have too many hobbies, and blah blah blah. In retrospect, it was a silly thing to be upset about, but at the time my feelings were really hurt! So, of course, she recently signed up for CC herself, so that she could take a look at a cake I had just finished. Oy. I was nervous for a while about her reading my little mini-rant, but then I just figured that it really didn't matter. She knows I love her, but we get on eachother's freaking nerves at times! lol I'm sure it's the same with you and your dd! And if she's still upset, point out to her that she wouldn't have wanted you to know all the things's she's said about you to her friends over the years! Especially as a teenager! LOL

Dustbunny, I agree with you 100%. Although my DH wanted me to show his mother and sister something at their home so I used their computer (didn't save my info), but I'm hoping they don't get the bright idea to remember the site or look into the computer's history and sign up to CC. That would just ruin my year!

Janette, you're as bad as me!! It doesn't matter what is being discussed in the thread, when I see kitty avatars I just want to smooch 'em. I am a sucker for the kitties! My kitty is grey tiger stripes, but he has a polka dot tummy and intensely blue eyes. Next to my son, he is the cutest thing I've ever seen!
I agree! My cat Selah is the best friend I have!! (Even when she yells at me when I have been in the kitchen working on cakes too long!)

My husband gets on here at night if he can't sleep, LOL, it's funny I'll want to tell him something that happen on here and he'll stop me and say "I know, I already read that", LOL.
Joining in with the cat lovers here, I picked Garfield as my avatar because I couldn't get my pic of my cat Gilbert small enough to use it.
I can't tell you guys how many times one of my cats (my favorite, I admit it) is pushing my arm around while I'm trying to type or move my mouse because he's trying to put his head under my arm so I can pet him. He sometimes acts very much like a dog!
I'll have to post a picture of Yoshi in the Lounge sometime.

Darn that Max, LOL I was posting something last week and because of Max I started in on cats and than the whole thread turned in a cat thread, LOL.
Maybe we should all get together and talk cats in the lounge, LOL, bring you kitty photos to share, LOL.
