Ok, I am planning on making the candy clay this week. Now I know is last for a while and you can freeze it.

I was wondering if I make the molded figures this week, can I store them in a container with a closed until May18. Will they be good and keep their shape (the shape is a fish)

Thanks

I was reading on Wilton site about candy clay. I would suggest going there. It's the first place I looked when thinking about tackling poured chocolate molds using the chocolate candy melts.

If I am not mistaken, I think you need to keep it in a cool / dry / air tight container and it will last forever. Check it out, but I don't think you need to freeze it. Can't remember icon_confused.gif

I get so confused any more about what can be put into the freezer and what cannot - icon_confused.gif I'm still learning... So I hope to get this stuff straight as I become more familar with all the cool things I can use to decorate a cake!

Once made, the clay lasts a very long time. If you model it fresh, the figures or decorations will last a very long time-think tootsie rolls.

Just keep them clean and relatively cool.
